Feedback
I want to begin by highlighting the excellent service and friendly staff at Milltown. The beer selection is impressive, making it a great spot for a drink. However, after trying the chicken and grilled cheese sandwiches, soup, and deviled eggs that my family ordered, I can't recommend this place for the food. Unfortunately, it just didn’t meet our expectations. Milltown is an ideal place for enjoying a beer, some snacks, and catching a game, but I wouldn't suggest going there for a full meal based on our experience.
My review is based on sitting on the patio for Sunday Brunch. Except for the patio during the day, this is a bar that can get noisy and raucous. For Sunday Brunch it was absolutely the BEST place for family and kids. Our kids are teens but other families had younger kids there. The menu for brunch was imaginative and had many options. I recommend the Irish Breakfast. The service was excellent. The waiter came often, and anticipated our needs. The only caveat is that Milltown's ambiance is entirely different in the evening. On Sunday morning, the patio is ideal for group conversation and very excellent food. Well worth the trip.
