My wife and I had an awesome experience here! We stopped in for brunch and a mimosa. Our server, Anna, was over-the-top with her friendliness, information, insights and suggestions. I would definitely stop by again! View all feedback.
What JSU doesn't like about Carnation Cafe:
Half our meals had luke warm or stale sides. Waitress did not resolve or seem to care. Shared with management who apologized but did not make right. Will find a new place to visit in the future View all feedback.
We visited for breakfast every day we were in Carnation. We tried different things every day, and they were all good. The French toast was unique, and the biscuits and gravy was fairly spicy. The biscuits served with other meals weren't warm, but they were still pretty tasty.
My mom and I got to go orders after a very stressful day. The quality of the to go food was amazing, the salads were fresh and the coconut shrimp was still hot and crispy! 10/10 recommend!
I wish I had taken a picture of my fantastic corned beef and hash. It was delicious. With flavorful big chunks of hash. The portion was large I brought half home and ate it this morning. Their homemade pastry is look amazing. Staff was fantastic. And the atmosphere is a charming diner.

Really good food. We ordered a fish sandwich, crispy chicken sandwich and a Cafe club sandwich. The kind waitress told us that the Cafe club would be served hot, it came somewhat cold, definitely would have been better hot. But it tasted fantastic like everything else. Loved the fries, chips and onion rings. Root beer a little overpriced at $5, still a great place!
