The food was incredibly delicious and presented in a unique way, served on platters and 'trenchers'—which are plate-sized pieces of bread that double as edible plates. They offer a variety of dishes, including chicken, lamb, salmon, and pork. The entertainment matched the medieval theme perfectly. The innkeeper came around with a lute, singing and playing for us. Being the only guests that evening meant we received a lot of personal attention, which was a lovely bonus. I can imagine that having a larger crowd would enhance the ambiance and lively atmosphere of a bustling inn. It's interesting to note that all the pottery and crockery used are handmade by the potter in Camlann Village. The pewter tableware isn’t locally made, but they have a creative way of explaining that! This experience isn't inexpensive; it's cash or check only, with no card payments accepted. It worked out to about $43-$44 per person if you order one drink, a dessert, and a meal. We also took a tour of the village beforehand, which costs $10 per adult. Despite the price, I believe it is definitely worth experiencing at least once. They also host festivals for medieval holidays. I encourage anyone interested to check their website in advance for event details. Overall, I would love to return when there are more diners to fully enjoy the lively atmosphere!
