If you missed Japanese meals at little alleys, this is the place to visit. Authentic Sapporo Ramen. Be mindful that this is a home restaurant so do not expect the meals to be served in minutes. Definitely worth the wait though. Also owner confirmed restaurant is opened on Saturday 12 to 3pm and 6 to 9pm. She also mentioned that she would be opened for 11am if reservation is made. What User doesn't like about Sapporo:
The sole owner operator is a lovely old Japanese lady. The meal was decent but not exceptional. We were the only three people in the place and it took over an hour for our three dishes to arrive. That really is exceptionally slow. Furthermore I'm sorry to say that the premises are rather dirty. As mentioned, the lady is old so it may be difficult for her to manage. However the cleanliness is still unappealing. View all feedback.
I ordered gyoza, ozakadon, and tempura prawns. The food was average, nothing exceptional, and it wasn't inexpensive either. The elderly lady who runs this small restaurant is the sole staff member, so expect to wait a bit for your meal. However, she reminds me a lot of my grandmother, and it feels wrong to hold that against her. Her English isn't very good, but she makes an effort to communicate in her somewhat better Japanese.
This restaurant offers homestyle Japanese cooking run by an adorable elderly couple. Just a heads-up—don't visit when you're super hungry! The eggplant dish they serve is fantastic! Personally, I really enjoy the ramen, although the char siu and noodles may not be quite as good as those at the more popular ramen spots.
If you're looking for authentic Japanese cuisine prepared by a true Japanese chef, this is the place to go. At first, I was surprised by how long it took to get my lunch, but I soon realized that they prioritize freshness in their dishes. As others have mentioned, patience is key here. I ordered the beef don, and it was simple yet delicious, bringing back memories of Japan. Truly the real deal!
A restaurant that feels like a home. I ordered the katsudon for $14. a bit expensive, but worth it. the part is great and tasty. during the midday (Saturday) there was no one in the camp and was just an old friendly woman who led it. I'll go back to the place to try their other dishes.
