Was User at Thai Dee a mag?
An excellent introduction to Thai food for our kids. Excellent variety and choice. Also loved the option of mild, medium and hot. Street parking was readily available. There is a bottle-o across the road for BYO if you forget your own.The fish cakes and coconut prawns are excellent. We had a mix of curries and rice for mains.Very fresh, well portioned, tasty food with friendly service. We will definitely be back. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Thai Dee:
drove past this restaurant for years and finally decided to eat an evening on the last Friday. it was easy to park from the street because we arrived at six quite early and was an surprise to see the environment and the ambiente so elegant. we sat next to the window near the main street and it was relaxing and comfortable. After we had ordered the meal, the beautiful waitress brought us the free appetizer who were so... View all feedback.
This restaurant is fantastic! The staff are very friendly and the food is amazing. We have been getting takeout from Thai Dee for years, but we were extremely pleased with our recent dining in experience. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect for a suburban restaurant. Great job!
This is the best Thai restaurant in the area! My favorite dish is the chicken pad thai. The service is fast, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. I have never been disappointed here.
Decent restaurant. Tried the banquet menu for 10. Good service and affordable pricing. <br/ <br/ Dishes weren't perfect but to a good standard overall.
This restaurant is excellent in every way and I would not hesitate to recommend it. There is ample parking available under the building, on the street, and in the shopping center across the street, making it a pleasant evening walk as well. I highly recommend it.
Thai Dee Mount Gravatt, Brisbane. So many times have I bypassed here and noticed it, and have only just managed to try this place. The food is fantastic, there is no doubt about that, however the location is somewhat unfortunate regardless of how good the food is. There is not a whole lot of parking space nearby and with just a door and sign to above the door to point towards the restaurant, it is easy to miss.<br/ <br/ A few people in my household have always wanted to try this place out after so much observing of it being there, and just not that step to sample the food. Thus, one night my sister went out to get some orders for the household to eat for dinner. Coming back with a selection, there was <br/ Beef massaman curry<br/ Spicy noodles with pork<br/ Choo Chee fish<br/ Red curry duck<br/ and Ginger shallot tofu<br/ to choose from, all with a generous heaping of coconut rice which in short, is always a delicious and aromatic option well suited to Thai cuisine. My suggestion is to always go with it when offered. <br/ <br/ Each of these items were very good in their own way, and as someone who has eaten a lot of Thai food in the past saying that it stood out will mean something. First off, the classic massaman curry had a peanut sauce texture as opposed to the usual dark gravy flavour that it is known for. This was tasty, and the beef was tender as usual along with generous servings of the meat and potatoes. <br/ <br/ Next was the choo chee fish. This was a number of battered fillets, that came separate to the curry sauce. That was a wise move, as the fish would have been soggy before it arrived at the house. The sauce was a spicy, creamy mixture and suited the preparation of the fish really well. <br/ <br/ If anything was the breakout of the lot, and the dish which surprised me then raised my opinion of this place, it was the spicy noodles with pork. This dish was packed in with plenty of flavours mostly chili lots of pork and a thick consistency of noodles. Again, a tasty dish and personally recommended in going there. <br/ <br/ There was also the red curry duck. Much like the beef massamam, this is always a classic dish. The intense flavours of the red curry sauce combined with the fatty texture of the duck create a well balanced dynamic of flavours and aromas that is hard to resist. <br/ <br/ Last, and while lesser certainly not to be dismissed either, was the ginger and shallot tofu. This was where the flavours became subtle. The choice of vegetable mixture prevented it from become boring and reduced to the side dish, and there was a great infusion of the flavours into the dark sauce. <br/ <br/ This was merely and introduction to Thai Dee. All these dishes point to the restaurant possibly being a good quality one. I might one day check out the dining in part for myself.
