We had dinner at Downtown Istanbul last night to celebrate my husband's birthday. Thoroughly enjoyed the food - housemade dips and warm turkish bread, salt and pepper calamari, chips, pide, beef and lamb shish, all delicious! Service by Charlotte was spot on, very friendly and attentive and knew the menu and drinks list well. We asked for a table out the back, nice and quiet. We'll definitely be back! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Downtown Istanbul:
My family and I drove 40mins to dine in your restaurant to be told use decided to close early (8.47pm),after giving us the menu to look at. Even though use state use are open till 10pm. Very upset to see use would turn a family away with a 5 yr old wanting to dine in for dinner, very rude and disappointing. View all feedback.

Beautifully asked for some extra pita brot and sauce, because there is only one piece pita brot with a kings mixed grill, in which soggy, so I thought they would like to help. Instead, I was told you had to pay well!

Always a great experience in the city of istanbul, was there several times and always had a great time. had birthday and eating was great and the team easily accommodated to a large group, also visited as a couple and the service was excellent. my recommendation would be the baklava and Turkish coffee. thank you for making our experience great!
Beautiful food wonderful service very friendly and personable staff. Will definitely be back.
