What Kara Kub doesn't like about Tap and Crackle:
Table of four for breakfast today. The bad: Ordered sourdough toast and eggs with mushrooms as an add on. Came out with the mushrooms mixed into the scrambled eggs without me asking for that. I didn 't order it that way so don 't serve it that way. I am dubious that the 'chef ' just wanted to make the scrambled eggs look bigger as without the mushrooms added in it would have been quite a small portion. Toast was terr... View all feedback.
Went here for breakfast. Good coffee, quick service, and it wasn't too busy. Eggs benedict was pretty good, not much hollandaise sauce and was a bit oily though.
Nicely decorated and good atmosphere. The food (Avocado on toast) and fresh squeezed juice were great taste but the portion size is quite small for the price. No good value for money.
We had a lovely 6-course dinner (with wine) at Tap and Crackle on Valentine's Day. The last time we had something this good was at Kylie Kwong's restaurant in Sydney. Top marks for everything - food, service, and atmosphere. Well done! Our compliments to the chef and staff at Tap and Crackle.

Visited three times in a ten days. First visit had my family over from Perth so a large group and hats off to the staff really looking after us so well. Second was breakfast with my daughter and partner last Friday. Again food was tasty and well put together Third was last night , quick tapas meal out with my partner. Now while the food is great and service friendly , a patron near us had her huge dog on the deck. Now don't get me wrong I love dogs but at dinner seriously! Add to that the waitress played with dog on several occasions , was hoping and praying she washed her hands!
