Perfect hideaway from hustle and bustle of the city. Great coffees and also love the design of this place. Don't think they serve very much food but has some nibbly cakes and rolls during the day time. The staff here are pretty accommodating to request on specifics of how you like your coffee or liquor. What Rebeka Nader doesn't like about John Mills Himself:
this is my favorite coffee shop in the city. the personal is always beautiful. the coffee is the best in the city. they have a large selection of coffee beans for sale that they can take home. and the load is like a little jewel in the heart of the cbd. could not recommend it anymore. A chill place for an awesome cup of coffee. Coffee consistency is always on-point and service does not disappoint. You'll definitely leave this place as a happy customer or even a new fan of their coffee!

Great selection of drinks but the space is just a tad too small for catch up with friends. I was bumped from behind all night as people passed through. Potential though - expand and add more seating.
A lovely coffee corner, which a colleague helped me to discover. I was in Brisbane for work and was on look out for a good coffee and I am so glad I found this place. Apart from coffee they do offer side dishes as well which are as amazing as the coffee here. Friendly staff and amazing ambience, in all a nice place to start your day with
Don't ask for coffee the way you like it... when asked for a "nude cappuccino" the girl serving was extremely rude in her phrasing "do you mean NO CHOCOLATE on top?", when I responded "yes thanks" (now this is a standard order in New Zealand and was requested with absolutely no innuendo - and one would expect an esteemed Australian coffee establishment to handle such a basic order) She proceeded to make an unintelligible remark to the barista who responded "ohh you're so bad". When she brought it out with a smirk that said "I just spat in that" I was just stunned by their behavior. The barista looked at me and in a confronting tone said "is there a problem?" Needless to say I didn't trust their coffee enough to even taste it. I left their coffee and their stinking attitudes where I found them. Back off to coffee anthology a block away. Shame John Mills himself wasn't there to see this debacle and I wish I could rate this experience as less than 1 star. Never to return, never to recommend, but always to recount the experience.
