The first bite of the pie was good and I thought I was on a winner, but each subsequent bite got sweeter and sweeter. I made it through the first two-thirds of the pie before binning the rest. I'm not sure why they would have added sugar or other sweeteners to this pie, but it was revolting. This rated a 1.5. The Apple Roll looked good, golden brown and topped with granulated sugar, but the apple chunks were too firm and the flavour was not very appealing. Lady Meatball and I each decided that one bite was enough. This rated a 2. Not sure when, or how, they won so many awards as my experience was quite poor. I will not be returning to the Coorparoo outlet.

It is a very confident and brave decision to use asparagus unless they are tinned food. Ordered one of that and discovered this hot bread has won so many award for their pies. I desperately took a seat outside and started my food journey. Looking at the pie and it was in a rectangular shape instead of the usual round shape. Well! Although they used fresh asparagus, the first bite still made my expectation down the drain...pastry was let down without a crispy feeling and the content was even worse, where the sauce was too thick and bland..... I wonder how is the benchmark of those awards came from.....very disappointed!

Tri... read more Came to this bakery at in the morning the other day to buy some sliced bread ... to find they didn’t have any wholemeal or multigrain brain at all. Bizarre. Tried one of their pies ... low quality of the meat inside was disgusting and ended up throwing it out. Super gluggy and jelly-like, rather the nice brown mince you’d typically expect. Avoid

They had a colorful array of various delights which were tempting, however when I spotted the macarons I wss sold. They had a special for purchase of four, so you can mix match. The mint ones were good but they didn't have that gooy centre, a little hard on the teeth!
