Bean Out - Carindale

Well local to share with my girls for a tasty bite after school spinne and a cup with carrot cake. can't go wrong!

Bean out is a good place for a fast morning coffee. service was friendly and fast. I had a latte and carrot cake, which was quite delicious.

The menu reads like any other caffe you've ever visited, so they don't break a new area. the food itself was pretty and good portions. it was also quite fast. the caffe itself is open and airy, and for the most part well presented. just a few negatives. Excess drink stock is stored on the cafe floor under the pass, and it looked like every chair was chipped and damaged at the place. also the floor of the beverage refrigerator opposite the caffe is disgusting dirty, so it is a little more attention to detail for cleanliness.

As a child I went to this cafe on numerous occassions, often for the Eggs Benedict (their hollandnaise sauce is to die for! . Their coffees and selection of warm and cold beverages is great. The food looks amazing as do their cakes and deserts. I...will however point out that the quality of their food and service has declined a bit. Was disappointed that their Orange and Almond cake (which is supposed to be a fairly moist cake was left out for up to a week in a cold fridge without gladwrap. The Indian waitress was a bit rude when we asked for our money back because the cake was dry etc. Despite this, their food is quite good. Same with coffee. Service has declined and not as good as it used to be about 5 years ago.

Bean Out is a lunch time and coffee favourite especially when I'm on the run. I often grab a toasted turkish bread with chicken, avo and salad. The sauces are always delish. And do yourself a favour and order a side of chips with aioli...best...crispy thick cut chips in Brisbane! The huge range of sweets are first class as well.
