Contribute FeedbackDespite some negative feedback concerning customer service and pricing, Subway in the bay offers solid food options with improved quality, fresh produce, and customizable choices. There have been reports of long waits due to short-staffing during peak hours, but the courteous and knowledgeable staff, like Ewa, make an effort to accommodate special dietary needs such as gluten-free options. Despite limited seating and occasional issues with cold deliveries and rude managers, Subway provides a decent fast-food experience. Overall, a good place for vegetarians and those looking for healthier meal options, with the ability to enjoy their food both indoors and outdoors.
Went here with a lady who is confined to wheelchair and exempt from wearing a mask, because she can't read the menu I usually order for her, after realising I forgot my mask I used my jumper to use as a face covering,(seen many people wearing snoods or scarfs as face coverings) the shop was empty and we were stood by the door looking at the menu, Simon and awa then proceeded to tell us to get out the shop because we had nothing to say she were exempt( the obvious was staring at her in the face) and because having a jumper over my nose and mouth didnt suffice we were told to get out the shop! We then left after a heated discussion with my client being upset and the feeling of discrimation in the air. I went back to the shop with my mask to tell Awa and simon how i wanted the complaint procedure, on returning I then find her serving a lady who wasn't wearing a mask !!!! How is this acceptable, why was this lady with no mask so different to us? Pure attitude and discrimination against a lady who is in a wheelchair and local to the area! and never will I return to this branch of subway with any of my clients!!!
Seating is an issue in this place, salad was nice and fresh. Plenty of taste! Will return when in area
Stopped in on NYD for lunch because my friend's first choice was shut (like a lot of establishments). It's not particularly big, so seating would be an issue in busy times, but the staff were very friendly and efficient. It's Subway, so food is as standard; you either know what you like, or you try something for the first time. I must say that the coffee was more bitter that the Subway I go to regularly, but we all enjoyed our meals and we appreciated them being open.
There's not much choice for vegetarians, there's basically a salad sandwich or a vegetarian patty, neither of which I can recommend as they are both very bland. I also find the smell of Subway off-putting, an odd mix of stale bread and over-cooked meat. To give credit where credit's due though, the person who served me was polite and friendly.
Went to subway for breakfast the food was good we Sat in to eat. The window cleaner was there we were sitting by the window he didn't ask me to move just pushed passed. The lady behind the counter looked and didn't say anything although I spilt my drink!! To top it off we had to wait for him to finish doing the door before we could get out!! Not going there again!!!
