Queens Vaults - Cardiff
Queens Vaults
Description
The Queen's Vaults in Cardiff offers a lively atmosphere, making it a popular spot for sports enthusiasts and locals alike. While features like high-quality televisions and billiards tables attract visitors, the pub has faced criticism for inconsistent service and cleanliness, notably unpleasant odors and sticky surfaces. Yet, its diverse selection of local and international beers, alongside well-priced food options like hand-cut steak and chips, keep patrons coming back. Despite occasional staffing issues and rowdy crowds, the pub's vibrant setting and engaging environment make it a noteworthy destination in the heart of the city.

I stopped by this restaurant in Cardiff to watch the Chelsea Everton FA Cup match while spending the weekend in town. I was very impressed with the quality of the televisions as well as the billiards tables...
Queens Vault is a unique dining spot with a decor and layout reminiscent of a warehouse. It lacks a bit of personality, but still stands out in its own way.
The Vaults in Cardiff would win the award for having the stickiest tables in the city. While it's not my favorite pub to visit, I often find myself being drawn back despite that.
Popped in here for something to eat before going to a gig. Food was quick to be served, hot tasty. Hunters chicken came on a sizzler our server warned me it was very hot. He was polite friendly. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Amazing pub to stop by! My mom and I stopped in during our trip through Europe. Felt like a true pub the food was great. We had an excellent experience with Joe. Great guy! Joe was the highlight of the visit for sure! I hope to visit Cardiff again just to stop by. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
