Also loved their cider selection, l... read more First time visiting The Pear Tree and honestly, such a lovely pub. Had the steak and it was cooked just right, really tasty! Also loved their cider selection, loads of local options to choose from. The staff were friendly without being over the top, and you can tell Ashley, the manager, keeps the place running smoothly. He checked in on our table and made us feel really welcome. Will definitely be recommending it to friends! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food is always spot on, proper pub grub done really well. Their Sunday roast is my go-to, and the pies are unreal. Great selection of drinks too, especially their local ales and ciders. The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome every time. Ashley, the manager, clearly cares, always checking in to make sure everything’s good. Definitely one of my favourite pubs around. The atmosphere was quiet, and the staff was very accommodating, even going out of their way to accommodate special requests that were not on the menu. The prices were reasonable, especially for the delicious coffee. We had a toddler with us and felt warmly welcomed. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. They also offer seasonal drinks and board games, making it a potential spot for Tipi Scrabble in the future. A few years ago, a friend and I used to visit this restaurant for appointments, and we always had a great experience.

Food was fast and really delicious. A little more expensive than I thought, but it was worth it. Staff super chill and friendly. Entire place is around a swirled staircase and toilets are on the ground floor.
