Chic... read more Speciality of the house is chicken grilled with various sauces such as Chipotle, Tamarinde and others, but the restaurant also serves numerous other meals. Chicken orders can be made for a quarter, half or for a whole chicken. We tried the Chipotle and the...Tamarind Chicken and both were delicious. On another occasion we tried the ribs and the Arrachera and again, both were very delicious. The restaurant is small with maybe 10 or 12 tables and is very popular with locals. Service was good and the staff was very patient with our limited Spanish. This is a typical Mexican food with a T.V. shows either a soap or a football match, and is a very relaxed and informal place. Alcohol is not served, but the freshly prepared lemonade is very good with its meals. Prices are moderate and appropriate for the quality of food. An excellent place to rub elbows with locals and enjoy delicious food. (We visited the restaurant during road trips and were glad that they were open between 4:00 pm when we stopped there.
