The pico was refr... read more Awesome staff and delicious food! We frequently came here for apps and drinks. The conch fritters were delicious with chunks of conch in them. The pico was refreshing and provided a perfect snack. Let?s not forget the beans and rice, a cup is a perfectamount to get your fix in. They also have live music and the atmosphere is lively and inviting.

Sub par and not even busy ..very disappointed ?? The whole lobster picture was the first one I got here and it wasperfection that's why I was disappointed in the second one, I ate the second and told the waitress (key word is consistency)

RC Otters’ atmosphere was delightful with the live music and Ji... read more Our family came in for lunch, excited to be back to Captiva for the first time in several years. RC Otters’ atmosphere was delightful with the live music and Jimmy Buffet feel. Food was excellent, above par compared to other neighboring restaurants we frequent. Service- began as satisfactory, ended with rude remarks and attitude from server Michaela after requesting separate checks. Party of 5- four adults and one child. It was lunch time- so nothing crazy on the bill- just needed two to be separate then the rest on one. When asked to separate- our response was a rude ‘Can’t read your mind!’ We were dumbfounded. Not one of us said a word until she left. The comments that followed were equally as condescending and sarcastic. Her tip reflected those remarks. With two fine-dining servers in a highly-visited tourist area being among the guests dining at her table, her comments were beyond unprofessional, they were uncalled for. It may be time to hang it up, and find something else that doesn’t make one so miserable, or seem so by the customers who have the unfortunate luck of being seated in her section. We came to eat a good meal and experience a beachy, fun atmosphere- not be subjected to unnecessary verbal harassment by our waitress.
