The Coffee Shack - CAPTAIN COOK

Mainlanders get over yourself and RELAX this is the BIG ISLAND. It takes time to make great food. I have been coming here for 7 years and look forward to kicking back and soaking in the view and eating the great food.

I recommend the Coffee Shack for anyone heading south out of Kona. A great place to stop for a bite to eat at a decent price.

The best place to eat for Breakfast thru Lunch. You cannot ask for a better place to eat overlooking the Bay.

There's a reason this place is crazy busy! Finding a little challenging (you can blow directly through them if you? not careful and a little challenging to park, but still 5 stars safe. Great customer service, delicious food (literal SO GOOD! great coffee and gecko friends that accompany you to your meal! Such an amazing view and great experience. This place has everything!

Highlights: Cinnamon rolls, cakes and views! Food: Breakfast is incredible! Great coffee too. Can't go wrong with the eggs Benedikt. Such a man! Get some slices. Ambiente: The temple has all the attraction of a small key island snack, but with the most beautiful mountain / Okean views you could imagine. Really friendly staff that is always beautiful. Experience: It's a must when I'm on the island. Parking is a little tricky, which later in the morning you will go, especially if you drive a big car, so get there early.
