I was able to enjoy a beautiful evening on the superb terrace while enjoying an excellent pizza accompanied by a glass of wine. What Charles Lafrenière doesn't like about Pizza Mag:
"Wet pizza alert "Poor pizza and extremely expensive! Wet underneath, undercooked bacon, undercooked cheese frozen in blocks, peperonni from maxi in bulk, bland sauce, way too overloaded even if I had the tomatoes and mushrooms removed . Crust worthy of a frozen pizza. I wonder what they use for an oven. No sense in making people pay this price. We complained, it 's nice they offered us a credit but we won 't go back because their recipe is a disaster.
Great pizza, overshadowed by kindness and accommodation that was, truly, a highlight of our trip! Simon and the rest of the staff were welcoming, considerate, helpful, and kind. The pizza was really good, but I cannot say enough about the impression they made on us. If we return to Quebec as planned, a visit to Maguire and specifically Pizza Mag will be a must!
Used to frequent their shop in Saint Roch neighbourhood many years ago. Make a point of taking a long walk from our apartment in old port to Pizza Mag when we visit Quebec. The “Suisse” pizza has taken on legendary status with our family. Fondue on a pizza! Worth the walk.
The online order did not indicate the level of spiciness, I had a stomach ulcer and the pizza was almost completely thrown away. When I mentioned to the manager/owner she said I had to guess with the name: Stromboli=volcano, so very hot. There is a 10% tip automatically ticked… In short, an online order that the customer is looking for himself, this tip is not justified it seems to me.73$ for 2 pizzas that I look for myself and got sick, and being told that I have to deduct Stromboli=very spicy, it's pocket :
Pizza Mag is one of the biggest institutions in Quebec! A supreme quartet and a Tuscan wine for the pursuit of happiness.
Excellent pizza super good price pizza very well stocked to recommend !!
