A quick view on Tripadvisor and I saw a r... read more I am grateful for reviews on here as I had just walked past this cafe when we felt the need to rest up for 20 minutes. A quick view on Tripadvisor and I saw a reliable place without expectation of additional cover/service charges added on Good welcome, seated in the shade we got some wine by the glass. Service was in English and no problems. I cannot rate for food as we didn’t have any due to a prior booking later further on. Considering the madness going on about 200 yards away with big crowds it was an oasis of calm. Two glass of wine €14 What I did notice was that although they had toilets you had to obtain the key and cross the street to use them.

There are a plethora of sidewalk cafes that we stopped to look into but most had a cover charge (6 euros) and a mandatory service charge. We passed them by and we are glad we did. The Capri garden not only has no cover charge and srrvice fee, but the view is absolutely beautiful of the marina and a sea view. I got a cappuccino fresco, frozen cappuccino, that was scrumptious. My travel partner got an iced tea and we shared an order of fried calamari, which was delish and fresh. Wait staff was excellent and friendly. The prices were very reasonable too. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

You can even get cheaper coffee and only few steps from La Piazzetta. I am surprised. This place is good for lunch or ever dinner.

For the ones who love prosecco, like... read more I went there with my friend in the end of our vacation. The place has a great view and it has a variety of food and drinks. For the ones who love prosecco, like me, the cup of it is very small. The prices are just right and the only comment not positive is that the bathroom is out of the bar next to it from the street. Great service and waiters are all very kind and careful. There are blankets when the customers are freezing out there in the opened area.

I really enjoyed Capri, especially loved the main “Piazza Umberto”, home to designer boutiques such as Valentino, Armani, Dolce Gabbana, Cartier and Prada. I also loved the scented “Gardens of Augustus” for a tranquil retreat. After hours exploring the cobblestone streets, I enjoyed a typical Caprese dish – Spicy Linguine with Clams and Mussels. Afterwards, I stopped off for a sweet treat of locally-made limoncello… a sweet and potent lemon liqueur fresh from the local groves. I loved it so much I couldn’t resist a photo opp with their giant-sized lemons! Capri is popular for day trippers from Naples and Sorrento.
