We are tourists, and he knew we did not know what to get. He made recommendations, and was absolutely right. We got a special pizza only available at the restaurant, and it was incredible… tasty and refined but filling at the same time. Grazie!

I’m his words, “I have never had a pizza like this. This is the best pizza I’ve ever had. I cannot get that pizza out of my head. I would go back to Capris just for that Pizza.” Being used to seeing below average tourist spots in New York City, we were biased that this restaurant would have mediocre overprice tourist food. To our surprise, the food was amazing. I had risotto which was fantastic but the Pizza Caprese was the winner: fresh dough, mozzarella, and tomato. Simple Beauty.

At first, we waited and waited at the entrance super long and none of the waiters passing by our eyes attended us so we felt abit ignored. Then eventually, they saw us and seated us. Service was slow. Food was great and our pizzas came super fast. Unfortunately they didn’t give us any olive oil with the bread.
