What a mistake! Served and a huge panini was the thickest, grisliest, overlooked steak I've ever had. So bad that I took it out and used some of the chicken from my husband's parmi.My sons fish and chips were good. Husbands chicken parmigiana okay.Overall they could make the portion sizes smaller and concentrate of quality. I love a big meal but even for me the amount of food was overwhelming.Wouldn't go back.

My wife's Parma was a reasonable colour and tasted just ok. My Parma along with my daughters was a very dark brown and quite hard. The chicken inside was chewy and tasteless. Topping was bland also. Salad was little more than a handful of rocket with a few bits of grated carrot and tomatoes. Sorry to have dropped in for anything more than a beer.

I had the pork belly with a strange combination of fish- which appeared to be of the frozen packet variety. The chairs which are the first things you see when you walk into the bar are atrocious-- dirty and stained- throw them out!

Nice size meals, came quickly a... read more Friday night, Welcome to Capel. Good food, great service, and cold beers. We had beef and reef and the chicken pie, both lovely. Nice size meals, came quickly and was very nice. Only hiccup was the tasting plate was different -chorizo, bread and olive oil....Chorizo was very hot. And maybe missing some other ingredients. Not sure that was what was on the menu.
