They claimed it was a dog friendly place. we arrived here to taste wein in this beautiful environment, just to say that we had to leave our dog outside when we... read more They claimed it was a dog friendly place. we arrived here to taste wein in this beautiful environment, just to say that we had to leave our dog outside when we wanted to try wein, because dogs are not allowed. this was the one we had driven out here because they claimed they were only open at the boxing day to find a sign on the door that was closed because of the uneasy of the employees. I feel extremely upset. that's not a polite throw. I can't comment on eating or weeping because we weren't able to stay out with our dog.

This Sunday had a wonderful pre-Xmas family. the team of capel vale was impeccable. we wanted a tasting pre-lunch and they offered to do a personal tasting at o... read more This Sunday had a wonderful pre-Xmas family. the team of capel vale was impeccable. we wanted a tasting pre-lunch and they offered to do a personal tasting at our lunch table to save my older elders from standing and enjoying the experience more. it was a great tasting of weeping over our cures. our main waiter could no longer help offer additional house nibbles, timing to my diabetic, off-list tasting etc. the lunch itself was good, although the pressed soufflé was more a muddy cake than light dessert. we had such a great experience, we then bought a buckling wine and gifts from the cellar door. well made capel vale.

I was prompty served by the waitress who was bubbly and professional. The wine was delicious and the views, OMG! Thankyou so much Nicole for an amazing experience! Our only mishap was a large group nearby who were loud, disrespectful to not only the staff, but also constantly bothered us with their behavior, and let their kids run amok without supervision. They also decided to leave a series of One star reviews on Google, all of which are utterly false and misleading.

The staff are always friendly, helpful and informative regarding the wines. It’s hard to pick my favourite as O have so many.try the Single Vineyard wines Riesling, Shiraz as they are very special!
