I was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful restaurant hidden in gardens with charming decor and friendly staff. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. What User doesn't like about The Stack:
The ambiance was okay, but the food was not great. Ordered steak (medium) the one side was burnt, my knife could not cut through it. I sent it back, the second steak came out well done and dry even though I ordered medium. When the bill came, the manager did not charge for the steak (which was fair) but don't think I will be back. The best place to visit for cocktails. they taste like a cocktail. friendly service of the bartenders who have great recommendations. the decor is beautiful and the camein went when we visited. the only place in kapstadt where the half price cocktails are worth the money because they actually have alcohol in it and do not force them to have two of them. very recommended especially for a happy hour between 3-6pm.

After having lunch there yesterday on a beautiful autumn summery day i can say it was amazing. The food divine, the service great and the ambiance wonderful. I loved the decor of the place most. Definately going again
