We always stop to pick up our fix of fudge for home. Use to also pickup a variety for a friend that use to live nearby. We like to select several boxes of fudge for home to enjoy as a treat. Also to share with others to try for visit. We IMHO don't agree with those that state the flavors are not that easy to detect. We pick those that we know over the years are flavorful and tasty. What mwooduk doesn't like about The Original Fudge Kitchen:
The fudge was delicious, but pretty pricey. Also, it’s very hard to park in Cape May unless you get there very early and get lucky with a meter space. My husband and I are on a diet so while our son bought the fudge we got some of the sugar-free chocolate, which tasted good, but had a bad effect on us later in the day. Warning to everybody out there, don’t eat too much sugar free chocolate, as it contains a chemical... View all feedback.

The service was not as good as years past. The fudge is also not the same. Several flavors of the fudge are crumbly and not as creamy as past years. There are no more coupons or discount offers. Something is different this year.

We always make a point of stopping into this shop when in Cape May! Loaded up on an assortment of goodies--fudge, chocolate covered pretzels, raisin clusters, cashew clusters, and toasted coconut marshmallows. It's all been yummy! We especially appreciate all the options of treats that include dark chocolate. The second location on the promenade has made this even more convenient for us.
