Order at the counter and your order is delivered to your table. A simple menu of tacos, burritos and bowls plus a few sides, the taste is excellent. The staff are knowledgeable (vegan vs. vegetarian) and flexible. I had the Buffalo cauliflower tacos with a side of rice, beans and guacamole. Scrumptious and reasonably priced. This place is located right in the heart of town, adjacent to the Acme supermarket and walkin... View all feedback.
What Annie Romaguera doesn't like about Big Wave Burritos:
The cauliflower with vegan sauce was tasty. Next time, I would omit the cheese, which I believe was daiya. The tacos and burritos were dry, and the salsa was disappointing. It was expensive, so I would not go back, but it was a decent option in a pinch. View all feedback.
My family returned to Cape May after seven years and decided to try a new restaurant that satisfied my edgy style. The food was tasty, customizable, and reasonably priced. It was conveniently located just a short walk from the end of Washington Street Mall. We will definitely add it to our list of Cape May traditions! I may ask for a little less vegan cheese next time, but overall the food was delicious. I even created a Happy Cow account just to leave a review. Although it wasn't a traditional sit-down restaurant, the service was fast and efficient. Families should be aware that the restaurant fills up quickly for lunch.
I visit Big Wave once a week. I love the burrito with Buffalo Cauliflower. Just double check your order before eating. Once they gave me the wrong burrito with real chicken, but overall not bad for over 20 visits.
Vegan cheese is available and there are many customizable options at this restaurant. I got exactly what I wanted - the vegan nachos and burrito were delicious! Even my non-vegan friend enjoyed their meal.

We ordered the Buffalo cauliflower tacos and a grilled veggie burrito. They were quite tasty.
