Gerry's - Cape Charles
Gerry's
Description
Gerry’s is a beloved roadside pizzeria on Virginia’s Eastern Shore, known for thin, flavorful pies that recall New Jersey-style slices. Margherita and pepperoni shine, with house basil and a satisfying crunchy-chewy crust praised by many. It’s a convenient Route 13 stop for locals and travelers, family- and pet-friendly, and takeout-focused. However, service and order handling can be uneven, toppings sometimes sparse, and prices occasionally high. Indoor dining remains closed, but for a hot pizza to go this spot keeps customers returning.

Stopped by on our way north. It was a nice place to stretch, let the kids and dog run. The pizza was great, thin, crunchy, chewy, cheese had a great pull and the sauce had great flavor.
Get the Cannoli, it was amazing. Everything here was amazing and the staff was very pleasant. I'll definitely be coming back.
We frequently drive through Cape Charles to get to the Outer Banks and have been looking for a place to stop and eat a quick dinner to go. There are a lot of really good restaurants in Capt Charles proper but restaurants along Rt. 13 on the eastern shore of Virginia are hard to find. We found Gerry’s Ristorante on the way and their pizza is wonderful! Always hot and very delicious. We stop every time we travel past Cape Charles, VA
Great, fresh made pizza with interesting choices for toppings. Outdoor dining, some covered, corn hole.
This is a fantastic place to grab a pizza or two while visiting the Cape Charles area. If you have children, you might want to request that the pizza be cooked a little less, as it tends to come out quite crispy. Please note that dining in has not been an option since June 21, 2022.
