I have been traveling to Paestum since I was a child and not only is Salati the most recognized mozzarella by the locals it is has also expanded to opening a restaurant in recent years. Saluti captures the complete essence of what it means to make a true Neapolitan pizza which believe me in the tourist traps of Italy is not an easy find! If you truly want the real taste of Paestum this is where you will find it...but be warned you will saddened when you are to full to take another bite!

The menu is largely antipasti (such as ancient meats with buffalo mozzarella) and salads and pizza, served on a terazza in summer next to a grassy lawn. The food is good, and the prices very reasonable. There wine list is only theirr own wine: E9 for a very nice red. They do not take credit cards, but this will be light on your wallet. Recommended.
