My wife and I love dining out and we tried a new restaurant every night while vacationing on our anniversary. We ate at Eden, a very fancy dining experience at the Rim Rock hotel in Banff, and we enjoyed our dinner at Trough more than Eden! At Trough, the mussel and bruschetta appetizers were both delicious, and the cioppino and arctic char entrees were fabulous. The chocolate mousse and sticky toffee pudding were wonderful sweets to follow a fantastic dinner. Service was excellent in spite of a minor miscommunication between servers in the beginning, and Richard (owner) was very personable when he visited our table several times, even taking our orders because an unexpected wedding party temporarily overwhelmed their staff.
