Blake's - Candor

I have never walked in a restaurant and felt so unwelcome. The lady running the front counter seemed like she was mad at the world and made me feel like she didn't think I belonged in her restaurant or something.. her attitude is one of the worst I've ever encountered. She literally oozes miserable energy. I miss the days when a restaurant treated you like they want you there. Not like you are a burden. I will never go back to this place. On top of that their food SUCKS. Some of the worst meatloaf I ever had

It had good food and good service the waitress was real nice quick with order and refills I want loud in there people holler or talking loud if I could give higher score I would I will be back

I went here after visiting the zoo. I got the Corned beef Reuben and fries. I thought that both were great! The fries were the best I've had in a long time, I'd put them up there with KFC fries. The sandwich was great as well. One thing about this place you should know is they only take cash and they have an ATM inside. Another is that they have different dishes on different days of the week. Overall I highly recommend Blake's!

Since they established in 1947, we thought they would have their stuff all together. Sorry, not so. We can only say something about our meal. HB steak asked for med. Rear but was over well done . Dry and burnt. Would have sent back but never saw our server again. Ck pot pie just a mixed up mess. Taste so so. Being around so long thought also would be more of a great atmosphere. Looked like any old place with out h/c RR Doors hit the sink, and the toilet . Would not go again. Wheelchair accessibility: Not the Rest rooms

Terrible. Don't waste your time. Ordered drinks, waited forever. When we came in and sat down people before us were still waiting for a long time for their food. . Try to order breakfast but there wasn't any it was past time so we ordered drinks and then decided to leave because the wait was so long. Try to get the drinks to go and they said that they didnt have good water. I also ordered sodas in a coffee into orange juices. Didn't get them either. You will be waiting all day. When I took a peek in the kitchen when they were preparing the food there was no heat lamps everything looked cold. Glad I didn't waste my time and money.
