The service was outstanding, and since it was our first visit, we enjoyed observing the locals as they came in; it was clear that everyone knew each other. I would describe it as a classic diner—very clean, and the food was great.

Although it appears small when you enter, there is a spacious area in the back that can accommodate larger groups. While some items on the menu can be a bit pricey depending on your choices, the quality of the food makes it worth every penny. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy high-quality meals at a reasonable price.

The fries were the best I've had in a long time, I'd... read more I went here after visiting the zoo. I got the Corned beef Reuben and fries. I thought that both were great! The fries were the best I've had in a long time, I'd put them up there with KFC fries. The sandwich was great as well. One thing about this place you should know is they only take cash and they have an ATM inside. Another is that they have different dishes on different days of the week. Overall I highly recommend Blake's! Food: 5
