Blake's - Candor

Got there too late for breakfast so had an early lunch. Delicious! Service was fantastic. It was our first time there and it was fun watching the locals come in. Everyone knew everyone else. It was what I would consider a classic diner. Very clean and the food was good.

It's a nice family owned, local business, and a great place to eat a home cooked meal. Friendly staff, Looks small when you walk in, but there is a big room in the back for bigger groups to eat. It is a bit pricey at times, depending on what you order. It is well worth the extra money spent. Quality food at a fair price.

Country cooking comfort food. Country fried steak, sweet potato casserole and cornbread all good and plenty of food. Staff very friendly and fast service.

We arrived around 1:00 for an afternoon noon meal it was kind of busy with seat yourself a lot of the tables needed bussed but it was fine The waitress arrived and took our drink orders and dropped the menus the drinks came and we placed an order , then the wait begins when you have ordered a simple burger and the special of the day one would think it would be quick , not so much and when it finally came it was warm at best with cold fries. The coffee is watery ! It's a diner in looks and feel with the locals getting lots of attention. Oh and don't forget your cash as they take No Credit Cards

The food was surprisingly delicious. blt with great bacon, real tomatoes . Fresh iced tea My partner had a hamburger and it was delicious. Wishing I lived close by! Simple perfect food
