Wood & Coal - Canberra

The food was decent, the staff was friendly, and the open kitchen allowed for a great view of the chef at work. The food was delicious, with a wide selection of beverages to choose from. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

We arrived without a booking for lunch with a rather large group. The staff were extremely accommodating and well versed on what was on offer. The food was well prepared and presented and tasted amazing. The staff again were constantly asking if we needed anything else and if everything was to our liking.The presentation of the restaurant was excellent as was the entire experience. Thank you to all of the lovely staff at Wood and Coal for a great lunch and enjoyable experience!

Wonderful staff that are attentive at all times.Had the best lamb dish ever with a great salad fantastic.Would definately return to sample more of their great menu.

We enjoyed an early dinner here tonight after seeing a movie at Dendy. Service was attentive and quick. Great selection of wine, including some local ones which is always a plus. The chicken was delicious and so too was the pork, both were cooked perfectly. Side serve of beans were a yummy side dish. We sat in a booth which was nice and quiet as it was still pretty warm in the sun. Great meal, thanks!
