Thanks Trip Advisor, The previous reviews alerted us to the restaurant. Yes, even though it is directly opposite the Manuka Oval, entrance is from Canberra Avenue. Lovely decor, Huge friezes of areas in Turkey. Reminiscent for those who have visited and informative for those who haven't. Four of us ate at the Origin Turkish Kitchen tonight. The whole evening was excellent! The food varied and tasty, the service friendly and helpful and the atmosphere good. I would highly recommend this for lunch or dinner, or take-away.
A must visit! Fresh, authentic delicious Turkish cuisine. The best I’ve had in Canberra. Highly recommend the Lamb Shanks, Iskender Kebab anything that comes with their delicious pilaf salad!
Lovely food, really friendly staff, well decorated, authentic place to enjoy a meal with the family.
I had dinner at this restaurant on Saturday evening and was blown away by the amazing food and service. I highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back soon.
