What Giorgio Storni doesn't like about Wasabi Civic:
This place is always busy but you don’t have to wait long for the food. I’ve been here a couple of times and it’s been consistently good. Their pho serving is decent for the price paid. There is a good selection of traditional Vietnamese dishes. They don’t split bills and I’d recommend you book if you have a group. View all feedback. What Sidney Gorczany likes about Wasabi Civic:
Very few places are able to replicate the goodness of the home country in terms of cuisine and service. Bistro in city centre is rare as it serves very authentic Vietnamese food and the staff surprisingly is all Vietnamese. read moreBistro Nguyens in Canberra offers a decent option for those craving Vietnamese cuisine, although it may not live up to the standards of more renowned Vietnamese food hubs like Melbourne. The restaurant is often busy but service is efficient, and the food is consistently good. The menu offers a variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes, and the staff, mostly Vietnamese, are knowledgeable and courteous. While the pho may not be the highlight for some, other dishes are recommended, such as the stir-fried tofu and fresh spring rolls. Overall, Bistro Nguyens provides a taste of authentic Vietnamese flavors in the heart of the city center, making it a must-visit for Asian cuisine enthusiasts in Canberra.
