It does not look as nice as some other Japanese restaurants and the service is slow. It looks and feels like a cafe. The food eventually arrived after a long wait. Don't expect to get your dishes in the correct order and you might receive your entree at the same time or even after the main course.However.........the vegetable tempura is probably the best we have ever eaten. The individual pieces were so large that they were almost unmanageable with chopsticks, but they were so tasty. The presentation of the teriyaki chicken and bulgoggi dishes was exceptional and the taste was pure heaven. Don't order too much as the serves are generous. The miso soup was just ordinary, but you can't expect perfection in everything. We had not expected such a fine meal in a small restaurant but there was one more surprise to come; the meal was half the price we expected. This is definitely one of the best places to eat without breaking the budget.I would definitely come here for lunch, but because of its lack of authentic atmosphere, I would choose the Shogun for dinner.
Usually, with more time, things tend to get better instead of worse. Unfortunately, it seems that in this particular situation, the opposite is true.
I decided to try out this restaurant on a whim after browsing their menu. As a sushi lover, I was excited to see they offered 'American style' sushi rolls.
The staff at this restaurant is wonderful! The manager remembered us after just one visit and was extremely accommodating.
