I dined here prior to a night at the Canberra Theatre. Located in Garema Place, the Noodle Cafe offers a good range of Asian dishes at very affordable prices. My Chicken Pad Thai was very generous in size and the quality was good. This cafe's simple setting and efficient service is perfect for those who are time challenged. First visited a couple of years ago, the experience was good enough to get me back, again, and again, and again. It's a favourite for takeaway for team lunches and friends I have introduced are all frequent visitors. The food is great, always freshly cooked, never any significant delay, even on busy days and the lunchtime special is good value. Friendly staff. Only downside is the draft when someone leaves the door ajar, but the staff are always quick to close it!

Back in Canberra town and spreading the love to the restaurant scene. Surprisingly, this place was open despite what TripAdvisor said. The laksa was served quickly and was delicious, with friendly service and complimentary prawn crackers. The decor was basic but charming.
