Hidden gem in Lyons! A breakfast on a Saturday morning that was filled with lots of ticks, none more so than the prompt service. The coffee, albeit a tad milky, was really nice. They serve good quality beans which are also available for sale if you're really into them (like me). The menu is small but more than does the job, covering all the dishes you'd expect to see on a good breakfast menu. Meals arrived super quic... View all feedback.
What Philip Davis dislikes about Stand by Me:
I used to love this little cafe, still go there from time to time, hoping for their big come back. The coffee is always great, that's a big YES for me and they definitely deserve credit for that. Unfortunately, their menu & flavor choices went into to a really weird direction...I often cannot find anything that would suits me and once I order, I am still disappointed. I may just give them a bit of time and try again... View all feedback.
My daughter and I love returning to this charming oasis in the heart of Canberra's southern suburbs. She always enjoys her favorite granola topped with fresh seasonal fruit, while I prefer the bubble and squeak with perfectly poached eggs. It's the ideal way to kick off a relaxing Sunday. The atmosphere is bustling yet relaxed, and the service is attentive without being overbearing. We love trying the daily specials, as they are always delicious and inventive. We recommend arriving by 9:45am on Sundays to secure a table without a wait.
This charming cafe offers excellent coffee and an array of food choices in a friendly atmosphere. Their affordable meals come with the option to take away coffee and snacks. Additionally, they have a lovely outdoor seating area that appears to be dog-friendly.
Even though we had to sit in the back, it was cozy and inviting. The breakfast was cooked perfectly, and the menu offered some unique items. It appears that their specialty is the French toast, which they change up every month.
In addition to the delicious vegan option, Ful Medames (a middle eastern chickpea casserole), there is also a vegan miso eggplant burger with white bean hummus on the menu. You can also add a side of avocado. For dessert, the vegan option is orange and raisin toast - just make sure to request no maple butter.
