Was Martin W at Ashes a mag?
Anne's Coffee and Pizza operates from the back of Ashes daily from 9 AM to 3 PM. They serve light meals and more. We had pancakes—one with bacon and the other with Nutella. We enjoyed our meal outside in their covered, dog-friendly area. Highly recommended! View all feedback.

What Marcelina Nowak dislikes about Ashes:
Really wanted dinner but no longer serves food. However they have an arrangement with the van in the campsite next door. That's open daily from 6 except Wednesdays. Order food at van- just basic selection eg burger/fish/scampi/chicken nuggets and chips and they will bring it to pub so you can eat there if you buy a drink. Food ok though very limited menu. Would be great if pub could offer cakes or something as desser... View all feedback.

Lovely little pub. Very cosy and great Guinness. Would love to see Guinness available!

This is an old-fashioned country pub, so don't expect fancy drinks like your mandarin gins and IPAs. However, it is charming and lively, featuring a large open fireplace that adds to its appeal.

I absolutely adore this place! It's the perfect spot to enjoy an evening out with friends or to relax with coffee and cake during the day.

September 2025 Coziest pub in Ireland that we stumbled upon on our bike tour. The owner was amazing and let us pitch our tent in a field nearby for the night. Can also recommend the café in the same building.
