This establishment is a charming spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or a beer/wine, one of the few truly good cafe bars in London. It strikes the perfect balance between a pub and a cafe, offering great music, a relaxed atmosphere, and delicious organic beers. The fact that it is independently run and reinvests some profits only adds to its charm. A truly unique and special place worth visiting. View all feedback.
What JodieMMc dislikes about Fairly Square:
I visited this restaurant last week for a quick cocktail and was impressed by the cozy and small bar, along with the nice music playing. However, the lack of other customers meant that the atmosphere was lacking. The cocktails were average and I found the £11 price for an espresso martini to be a bit high, even for central London. Overall, I probably wouldn't go back. View all feedback.

This is a welcoming independent cafe located in Holborn, offering a refreshing alternative to the chain coffee shops that dominate the high streets. The menu is diverse, featuring a variety of food options such as sandwiches, sausage rolls, quiche, stew, as well as coffee, wine, beer, spirits, and cocktails. Meals are freshly prepared upon order, so expect a slightly longer wait compared to fast-food chains. The cafe prioritizes fair trade and organic ingredients in its decor and menu, showcasing a bar crafted from reclaimed wood and a collection of furniture with a vintage feel. While prices may be slightly higher than average, the quality and organic nature of the food and drinks justify the cost. Despite the lack of WiFi, the cafe's unique character and cozy atmosphere make it a worthwhile visit.
This is a small fair trade cafe/ bar in an increasingly soulless stretch of London colonized by EATS and Subways and Pret a Mangers. So if you fancy something different with great value food (they do a scrumptious lunch buffet along with soups and sandwiches try this place. Cheerful service, comfy sofas and chilled music. I will be going back next time I am in London..
A cafe serving fair trade, ethical food and drinks (including alcohol , with eco friendly paint on the walls, salvaged wood for flooring and 'pre loved ' tables and chairs how worthy and grim is that? Not at all, actually: the food is delicious (brownies, brownies, brownies, yum, yum, yum! , the staff friendly and the vibe funky. The menu isn 't extensive, but it does offer enough for most tastes, including hot food, and the ingredients are top quality and I 'm pretty sure almost everything, if not everything, is organic. OK, so the exterior does smack a bit of sackcloth and ashes, but the food is anything but. It 's not dirt cheap the sandwiches are about £3.50 and upwards, and cappuccinos (fair trade and organic are £2.50 but I 'd say it 's better value than the 'chain ' coffeeshops in the locality, which charge about the same for a lower quality panini . It 's open at night, too, when they sometimes have musicians and poets and so on performing. Well worth a detour off Holborn.
