Contribute FeedbackThe Priory Tavern offers a mixed dining experience, with nicely presented yet mediocre food, good drinks, and lacking customer service. Despite the atmosphere feeling unwelcoming, loyal customers return for convenience and pet-friendly policies. On the flip side, other diners found the food burnt and service unfriendly, leading to disappointment and a decision not to return. However, many have raved about the friendly staff, delicious food, and great atmosphere for various occasions, making it a hidden gem worth revisiting for both locals and visitors alike.
Best pub I've been to in many years. Great staff, beer and food. Wish it every success. Views shared by all five of us.
After a busy day I was rushing past the recently refurbished Priory Tavern [with my new Homebase watering can, as you do on a Sunday afternoon … I was thinking I’d missed lunch and needed to eat. I saw their menu and thought I’d try it out…. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place has been newly decorated with a nice feel about the place…. The lunch was delicious, and it turned out to be a lovely relaxing afternoon. I’d definitely take a friend there next time.
Came here, excellent service shame it had to go, Thanks for the board game experience was quite fun.
New management has transformed this local pub into somewhere we're keen to return. We visited on their first day serving Sunday roasts, and our expectations were exceeded with warm, friendly decor and staff, and super tasty food. They catered for our different dietary needs too. Great experience.
Visited this venue last night with my partner. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the angry hash burger was really tasty! Highly recommended
