The service was good and helpful, and having opted for the set menu at 19,80€ for 3 courses we seemed to have found a good deal. The mussels tasted great, and the steak as part of the main came raw and was cooked by ourselves on the hot stones. It tasted off and quite bad, and 3/5 of us had terrible stomach pains the following morning followed by trips to the toilet. The following dessert had a good flavour, but was not fresh tasting. Tldr; Good service, but the steak tasted off and gave some of us bad indigestion and trips to the toilet the following morning.

What a great fi... read more As you come up to a restaurant where no one is seated you wonder what is wrong. On this occasion Tripadvisor gave us the confidence to sit down. What a great find! Good food, good wine and good service, albeit without the chocolate sauce one of my colleagues would have liked. Very happy to recommend. Many thanks to the hard-working waitress who looked after us so well.

Despite the name, be sure to make this restaurant your first choice when you're in the area. I look forward to coming back.

The starter was mussels or... read more We were walking around Cambrils and found this little gem. Not a large menu but they did a set meal for €19.98. We took this option. The starter was mussels or goat cheese salad. My wife had the mussels and I the goat cheese. With a set menu you expect cuts but there was no complaints about the amount of mussels my wife received. My salad was just as pleasing with a lovely dressing. The main was organic 50 day matured steak cooked on the table on very very hot stones. The meat was superb, dark in colour as aged steak should be. To be honest the meat was that good I eat a piece true blue. It was served with potato wedges which if I am honest were a little under done. The deserts were home made Tiramisu and chocolate cheese cake both really good as well. For this set menu you really should like good steak and be comfortable eating it medium rare as to do it well done would take to long and to be honest a waste of good meat. This meal was the best of our holiday and the waitress was attentive and though it was closing time did not force us to leave and let us finish our drinks at our pace. Just for this set menu I highly recommend this restaurant.
