Driving by we recognized the name so we popped in for breakfast. Our waitress was quick and efficient. Place was just about full, but we only had to wait no more the 10 minutes. The food was good and hot. We will be back. Thank you!

Went here for a late breakfast one morning. The restaurant looked nice and the server was friendly. Unfortunately that is about all I can say that was positive. The coffee was very bland. It tasted like they reran water through a second time with the same grinds. For breakfast bad coffee is the kiss of death. We were able to order within a reasonable time, but then our meals took 25 minutes to arrive. This didn't make sense, the restaurant was only about 1/3 full. This is breakfast, where meals generally never take more than 5-10 minutes. My scrambled eggs were dry, the pancakes were crusted on top and the bacon crumbled when touched. It was as if my meal had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. I will say, my husband enjoyed his chicken sandwich. Much better places in Cambridge for breakfast .

A nice enough place but I really have to wonder what the source of their hollandaise sauce is. My guess is that it is some sort of corporate factory made concoction. I couldn't taste butter of lemon. Very bland! I regretted ordering the Eggs Sunset right away. Good home-fries, however and the little ones loved their blueberry pancakes...

Awesome food at great prices but the service is awesome!! My waitress was Jennifer and she was excellent. Seems to love her job and wad always one step ahead of me with drinks! She also worked with customers that she wasn't even waiting on which is impressive. Always great service in this restaurant, but she is a real gem. Great food also in this super clean breakfast place. Even the owner was walking around with a coffee pot! I will go here for breakfast out from now on!

The place is a chain and it's an ok place to get breakfast - if you are looking to have fresh made food.Normally, I find most Sunset Grill's A-OK but this one, it was a bit of a disaster. When I sat down, I told them I was in a hurry and told them my time limit and wanted to order quickly. It took a while to get someone to take my order. It takes a bit of time to get my order - appreciate that the meal is cooked upon order. Then it took forever to flag down my server to get the bill. I needed to be out by 11:30AM - latest. Finished my meal way before that and I still ended up checking out at 11:45AM. 15 mins to get a bill after I told them I was in a rush.I was not happy one bit. I finished on time but could not get my server to walk anywhere near me. I wanted to be patient and try not to get upset. Nothing worse than having a meal and then getting an upset stomach because the server would rather socialize with her co-workers and regulars.I finally gave up and went to the cashier. I got a bill, paid and then left promptly.Would have been a 1 star but the food was prepared well and enjoyable. Why sink everyone because the Sunset Grill Socialite didn't find me worthy of her time.Cheers.

The Sunset Grill in Cambridge offers a mixed dining experience. The restaurant itself is nice, but the breakfast dishes received mixed reviews. While some enjoyed their meals, others found them lackluster. The hollandaise sauce was particularly disappointing, with some suspecting it was store-bought. The cost of the food was also a point of contention, with some feeling it was too high. However, the service was generally quick and efficient, with standout servers like Jennifer going above and beyond to provide excellent service. Overall, The Sunset Grill offers a solid breakfast and lunch option, despite some inconsistencies.
