Contribute FeedbackThe Sunset Grill in Cambridge offers a mixed dining experience. The restaurant itself is nice, but the breakfast dishes received mixed reviews. While some enjoyed their meals, others found them lackluster. The hollandaise sauce was particularly disappointing, with some suspecting it was store-bought. The cost of the food was also a point of contention, with some feeling it was too high. However, the service was generally quick and efficient, with standout servers like Jennifer going above and beyond to provide excellent service. Overall, The Sunset Grill offers a solid breakfast and lunch option, despite some inconsistencies.
Driving by we recognized the name so we popped in for breakfast. Our waitress was quick and efficient. Place was just about full, but we only had to wait no more the 10 minutes. The food was good and hot. We will be back. Thank you!
A nice enough place but I really have to wonder what the source of their hollandaise sauce is. My guess is that it is some sort of corporate factory made concoction. I couldn't taste butter of lemon. Very bland! I regretted ordering the Eggs Sunset right away. Good home-fries, however and the little ones loved their blueberry pancakes...
Always friendly with excellent food, large portions and very tasty My wife is Gluten Intolerant and thay always cater to her needs.
Wanted to try some place different, so we decided to try this place out, due to the "breakfast special for 4.99".Which we found out doesn't include any meat, so to get bacon, eggs, potatoes and toast, the price is actually 8.49. So the "special" got us in the place, but to get what you want, will cost more!!2 breakfast, 2 coffees and tip turned out to be $28.Service was good, food was good. Will we go back, No...got fooled by "breakfast special" advertisement.Other places out there that have better prices, it's just your basic breakfast.
Went here for a late breakfast one morning. The restaurant looked nice and the server was friendly. Unfortunately that is about all I can say that was positive. The coffee was very bland. It tasted like they reran water through a second time with the same grinds. For breakfast bad coffee is the kiss of death. We were able to order within a reasonable time, but then our meals took 25 minutes to arrive. This didn't make sense, the restaurant was only about 1/3 full. This is breakfast, where meals generally never take more than 5-10 minutes. My scrambled eggs were dry, the pancakes were crusted on top and the bacon crumbled when touched. It was as if my meal had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. I will say, my husband enjoyed his chicken sandwich. Much better places in Cambridge for breakfast .
