Every day this restaurant has chalkboard specials and there are a few hidden gems there. soup and sandwich choices are very good and hot dishes are excellent. Great tea and coffee choices too - but don't forget the dessert!!!! View all feedback.

Ordered a vegetarian lasagna with caesar salad to go. Upon opening my meal I found the salad had bacon on it which now ends up uneaten. I decided to give a kind and courteous call to the Manager to let them know. The Manager retorted, "Well sorry, but most people KNOW caesar salad has bacon on it. You should have asked for no bacon. We can't know who's vegetarian. We aren't a restaurant with servers so you can't expect us to ask you." Very sorry you had this attitude. Very sorry I didn't enjoy my experience or my overly priced lunch. Very sorry for the next person who has to throw their lunch away because your unkind philosophy towards your patrons' needs.SincerelyDisappointed with my lunchP.S. I ordered a VEGETARIAN MEAL
The view is lovely, with plenty of seating by the windows that overlook the Grand River.
