Overall, Obie's seems to be a hidden gem in an obscure corner of a strip mall, offering fantastic food at reasonable prices. The menu is small but each item is made with fresh ingredients and flair. The staff is welcoming and the ambiance cozy and inviting. The burgers seem to be a standout item with praise for their size and flavor. Despite some mixed reviews, Obie's seems to be a dining establishment worth checking out.
These burgers are the best in the opposite. the double bacon cheeseburgers were full of taste and the frits were also quite good
Have their steak special trip, elk meat, fish tacos and mushroom linguiune. also a craft beer ordered. it was skeptical to have a steak extract, but everything was hot, fresh and cooked for perfection. elchfleisch and tacos were for to die! will definitely order again.
Went to obey with my wife for the first time today. because it was unusual. I had the obie burger with speck and goat cheese salat. my wife had the huh and the speck. burger was excellent. salat was fresh and very. my wife really enjoyed the huh and bacon melt and her caesar salad. we will definitely go back. Hopefully, they and other restaurants will soon be opened for din-in service. many thanks for a great meal Obie’s!
Went here a couple weeks ago had the brisket sandwich. My daughter had pulled pork sandwich. Was underwhelmed. Tasted pulled the pork which was oK but nothing special. My brisket was a disappointment. Tough and smothered in a sauce that hid the brisket taste. Probably...because it wasn’t that good. She said they didn’t make brisket that day which should have been a warning.
Sweet potato, double smoked bacon, green beans, spinach, parmesan cream sauce, tomato salsa. Entered Ordered Nirvana being played over thr PA and Tom Petty/The Doors memorabilia on thr wall? Intriguing. Visiting Cambridge on a Monday and my fav Latino America Unida is closed...so i google searched restaurants and this place is appealing. Server greeted me from behind thr counter when I walked in. There's a nouveau rustic style of design here... paper straws! I love that. food arrived Geen beans and spinach are perfect and the parmesan cream sauce is decadent. Sweet potatoes are a bit sweet for my liking. Mea culpa! The rainbow trout is worth it all. The blackened side is perfectly crunchy. The sauce and the double smoked bacon aroma rise from the plate and envelope my nostrils. Not a big fan of the salsa with this dish. I AM a fan of how writing a review forces me to be a mindful eater, as i chew this bacon..
