Foundry Tavern - Cambridge
Foundry Tavern
Description
Nestled in a vibrant space with live music and a lively patio, this restaurant impresses with excellent, attentive service—especially from standout server Penny. The atmosphere buzzes with great tunes, though music levels can be a bit loud for conversation. Food quality is solid and flavorful, yet portion sizes feel small compared to the premium pricing, occasionally leaving diners wanting more. Some ingredients and presentation details fell short, such as soggy salads and missing garnishes. Despite these minor setbacks and casual touches like plastic beer cups, the overall experience is enjoyable, making it a promising spot worth returning to.

The atmosphere was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the band was amazing. The food was good too. The only downside was that we ran out of clemantic juice towards the end, and we didn't receive a celery stick or a bean like your pitcher shows. Overall, we will definitely be back!
Our server, Penny, was fantastic, and the overall service from the entire staff was impressive. The food was delicious, but I felt the portion sizes were quite small relative to the price. For instance, the chicken sandwich we ordered was about the same size as a Junior Chicken from Popeyes but cost three times as much. We ended up having to go somewhere else to get more food because we were still hungry.
Rustic vibe, family couples outing spot in the up coming Cambridge's Distillery district
The atmosphere was amazing, the service was excellent, and the band was brilliant. The food was good too. The only downside was that we ran out of clematis juice towards the end, and we didn’t receive any paystock or a bean as your pitcher suggests. But overall, we’ll definitely be back!
