We have been to Applebee's befor... read more My mother and I wanted something special for lunch. My mother is in a wheelchair, and this restaurant is wheelchair accessible. We have been to Applebee's before and had a great dining experience, not this time!! We ordered the two for forty meals which allowed us to dine at a reduced cost on a limited menu. We had an appetizer which was shared, a chicken wonton taco, it was OK, but we had to ask for sour cream to go with it! To dry without it! Then we had fish and chips, the fish we had was dry, and the chips we got were not up to the Applebee's standards I was accustomed to! During this portion of our meal, the dry fish became stuck ... I was choking, but still able to talk! I asked the server to get me some water quickly. He said he would, but simply proceeded to another table to take their order. So I bolted towards the kitchen to ask someone else for help, but at this point I was unable to call out. The server finally followed me a gave me the water I needed to dislodge the blockage. I wanted to leave at this point, but stayed to get the dessert we were paying for! The brownie was good, but that wasn't ice cream they served with it! Not Pleased .... Not Returning!!
