Feedback
Nestled conveniently, Nirvana offers a varied experience for diners craving authentic Indian cuisine. While some dishes, such as the aloo murmel and masala dosa, left guests longing for flavor, others found joy in vibrant vegan options like mattar tofu and delicious samosas, highly praised for their exceptional taste and presentation. The service elicits mixed feedback; although warm welcomes and attentive recommendations were noted, some diners experienced confusion with the staff. Overall, Nirvana holds potential with its diverse menu and appealing ambiance, though consistency in dish execution and service remains a point for improvement.
I have visited this restaurant multiple times because it is conveniently located near my home, and I am thrilled that it has opened! The food here is absolutely delicious, and I now find myself craving it often. They provide tasty vegan dips at the start of the meal, and the dishes I have tried so far, including the Shahi Bhindi (highly recommended), the Subz Panchmeal, Aloo Palak, and Shahi Aloo Gobhi, have all been fantastic. Upon inquiry, I also learned that one of the soups is typically vegan, although it is not labeled as such.
The food was quite mediocre. The dishes we ordered all seemed to be lacking something. I ended up combining different curries and coconut to add more flavor. Overall, the dishes did not feel well-balanced and were somewhat disappointing. I tried the aloo mutter and masala dosa.
I appreciate how they clearly mark the vegan options on their menu. The appetizers and curries are fantastic. They offer a delicious vegan mattar tofu and sag tofu, which are both highly recommended!
Everything vegan clearly labelled. Very tasty
I'm very picky about Indian food because I grew up eating amazing home cooked Indian food and the food here is probably the best Indian food in Boston. They deliver very authentic flavors and good portion sizes. I know I'll be eating well if I come here. Highly recommend!
