Legal Sea Foods - Cambridge

Not from the area, but every time I come to town having Legal is an absolute MUST. I don?t say that lightly, there are few restaurants in the country I feel deserve a visit every time I am around them. The lobster roll is the best I have found. Brought my wife for her first visit to Boston and she already wants another. Don?t hesitate after seeing the price, it is worth every penny.

Really depends on what you order here; it's really a hit or miss The clam chowder was absolutely amazing, and one of the best I've ever had; it was well seasoned and very generous with the clam. The Lobster Roll was also great with a delicious buttery roll. The grill items however were quite disappointing; ordered the salmon cooked rare and ended up with a medium well cooked fillet instead. It was underseasoned and the sides were also overcooked.

Host and waitress polite and efficient. Place well decorated and clean. Beer cold! Crab had the taste of wet tissue, and fish tacos not much better, work on the food cuz all else is good.

The food and drinks were pretty good. The crab cake was delicious. The service was terrible. It?s pretty obvious that the staff are inexperienced and untrained. None of the dirty dishes were removed from the table throughout the meal. We probably would have ordered more drinks and dessert if the server had ever come back to the table to ask if we needed anything.
