What Jess the Blessed doesn't like about Atasca Restaurant:
The food at this restaurant was of high quality, but there was a limited selection. When I came for brunch, I was surprised to receive a menu labeled as the dinner menu. It seems like they serve dinner for every meal. The atmosphere had a cozy, neighborhood hangout vibe. I recently dined at a restaurant that offers a variety of Portuguese cuisine. The owners are welcoming and the staff is knowledgeable about the menu items. The prices are fair and the portions are generous. I thoroughly enjoyed the steak and roasted egg dish that I ordered. The steak was high quality and the fried potatoes were a tasty accompaniment. My friend also enjoyed their fish dish, made with fresh and delicious seafood. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.

It seems like they serve dinner for every meal. The atmosphere had a cozy, neighborhood hangout vibe. The waiters and staff were very friendly and lively with regular patrons, but seemed cold towards my group, who were new customers. It was a bit odd for a restaurant trying to attract new loyal customers, but perhaps it's just part of their culture. Overall, the food was good but the service experience was a bit strange.
What a splendid place with attentive service. The menu is wide ranging and gives tremendous exposure to Portuguese food in Cambridge. Favorited: we will return.
Pork tenderloin with garlic&mustard sauce was outrageously decadent!
Elegant surroundings and sound levels appropriate for dinner conversations Our party of three met for a business dinner. I picked Atasca over a nearby vibrant restaurant recommended by our host. Our waiter helped us manage the menu with excellent choices and wine pairings. Two of us chose to create a meal with selections of starter dishes. My colleague chose to start with SARDINHAS GRELHADAS. He received a generous portion of large fish. They were characteristically flaky with a mild sardine flavor. Excellent preparation. I chose LULAS Ã ALHO. I was delighted by both preparation and flavor. Our companion chose PASTÃIS DE CARANGUEIJO and enthusiastically reported the crab cakes exceeded his expectation. He followed with PERNA DE CARNEIRO receiving a generous portion of lamb chops, perfectly prepared and balanced by side dishes. We both chose CAMARÃO COM QUEIJO DE CABRA, an outstanding dish balancing the flavors of shrimp and goat cheese baked in a casserole of tomatoes, herbs and jalopeno peppers We enjoyed our visit and were especially pleased with the wonderful attention and advise of our waiter/host.
