What BistrotStaccini likes about Yim Wah Express:
Just a bit different to most Chinese restaurants and all the better for it! Lovely friendly service and a varied, interesting, copious menu. Good value for money and well worth a visit. View all feedback. What Sienna Butler doesn't like about Yim Wah Express:
I ordered at 7pm and went and colllect my food but turned out pan fried carrot cake is all burnt!!! Moreover the vegetable dish that cost £12 pounds is tasteless with some minced sinked below.... portion also extremely small with 6 stems.... Worse was the noodles which was bland and greasy. The only acceptable dish was the beef, albeit abit dry. View all feedback.

read moreCustomers have varying opinions about Yim Wah Express in Cambridge. Some are disappointed by the burnt pan-fried carrot cake, tasteless vegetable dish, and bland noodles. However, others praise the delicious roast duck, friendly service, and fresh food. The restaurant is described as a bit noisy when crowded but offers a good selection of Chinese-style vegetables and beers. Prices are seen as slightly high, but the portion sizes for noodles and fried rice are generous. Most agree that Yim Wah is the best place in Cambridge for roast duck and other meats.
Good Chinese food. We had Cantonese food with some dim sum. Quite authentic and reasonable delicious. Expensive but going out in the UK is generally expensive.
OK... The 'express ' in the restaurant name should probably be taken with a pinch of salt, and the ambience was more loud and chaotic than warm and cosy but.......
