What Alexandra Hall Chen doesn't like about The Cambridge Union Society Cafe:
As an old member I was taken aback to find that so much of the building has been turned over to a restaurant. With the main building closed for a private event (with no warning on their website), there was nowhere for members to go outside of the restaurant. Very disappointing. View all feedback.

Great speakers and events, but the lady in the plaid dress and bad eyebrows that was working at the door tonight at the Marco Pierre White event is quite rude and should probably consider being nicer while doing a public facing job :
Great place to go for an event was my first visit and it did not disappoint
Excellent historic space. We used as a plenary space as part of a conference which worked very well. Coffee and refreshments were good. The Orator cafe bar did a good lunch and the sound was good, but do sound check.
What an unexpectedly great place for a wedding! Amazingly atmospheric with stunning locations for photos. The staff were excellent and helped things run smoothly.
